The renovation and addition of Ozark Hall consists of a complete exterior and interior restoration of the 68,500 SF building as well as the new multi-story addition of 22,500 SF. The interior of the building was reconfigured to include new spaces and new HVAC systems. The renovated spaces house the Honors College, Graduate School, Geosciences Department, and Research Sponsored Program. This includes two auditoriums (180-seat and 400-seat), teaching labs, classrooms, seminar rooms, conference spaces, student lounges, student workplaces, computer labs, and departmental and faculty office spaces. The project was designed to achieve LEED Silver Certification and was a recipient of the Historic Preservation Alliance of Arkansas’ Outstanding New Construction in a Historic Setting Award.
