This addition/renovation allowed for a 75% increase in collection size, allowed computer seating for 214 students, and added multiple classrooms with a seating capacity of 264 students. Also included are private and small group study rooms which are located on both levels of the building and a presentation classroom with a seating capacity for 100 students. With an efficient exterior envelope, and high-efficiency Central Energy Plant for chilled water, high efficiency fully condensing hydronic boilers, and LED lighting with daylighting, this building achieved LEED Gold Certification.
