City of Bentonville Police Emergency Dispatch Center

New construction. Center is designed to contain a hardened building built to withstand disasters, both natural and man-made. This building houses the Control Communications Department capable of handling 16 dispatch personnel, two large conference rooms, two restrooms, and two sleeping rooms. This building is equipped with redundant mechanical systems to ensure the building always has heating and cooling. It is also equipped with a backup plumbing system (water storage tank) to ensure the plumbing systems would still be in operation should disaster ever occur. The building also has an emergency diesel generator to ensure the building has power in case of a disaster.
